Bella and her new boyfriend
Posted on November 23rd, 2008 @ 8:35 pm

bellaandpablo.jpg

Yes, I know she is only 4 years old, but all of you who know Bella, know that she has been 2 going on 16, 3 going on 18 and now 4 going on 20... All I have to say is that she already has a boyfriend. An older “man”, yes her boyfriend is 10 ( a 6 year difference which is not much considering that Matt & I have an 8 year difference).

His name is Pablo and he is a new kid in our urba. He has a twin brother (fraternal twin) and they just moved here from China where they lived for 6 years, he is Spanish but speaks perfect Spanish, English and Chinese.. It was love at first site and so far the love maintains..hahahaa.. Well, “love”. He invited her to his birthday party and she was thrilled.. and just yesterday they went to another birthday party for another boy in the urba and they spent the entire time together, holding hands, talking, he helped her sit down, eat her food and tie her shoe.. When he wanted to go play soccer with his friends she got mad and they got into a lovers quarrel and he decided to stay with her..He said he will wait for her….how romantic….
Anyway, very funny.. I will keep all of you updated…(sorry the pic is blurry, cell phone image)..

Bugaboo

You all know how I love innovative ideas and products, and how when I find them I always share them with all of you.. Well, my friends, today I want to introduce to you Bugaboo.. (I love the name). Some of you may be very familiar with this company (those of you who are new mommies) and some may not have a clue as to what I’m talking about.. but here goes..

Bugaboo is a car seat and stroller company. But not just any company, their products are exclusive, innovative and trendy. Their website is also one of the most informative sites I have seen in a long time. I specially love their video section, where you can see mini videos of actual customers and how the Bugaboo products fit in to their lives, and their day trip section where a different city is featured and you can follow their map on an adventurous day trip. They have stores all over the world so anywhere you go you will find them.

Their product range is awesome. For example their 3 in 1 style called Cameleon can be adapted as a car seat, a reversible carrycot, and reversable seat. So you pretty much could go anywhere you want and do whatever you need, with just one product. It comes with the chasis (the frame base), the seat , the carrycot, a fabric set, mosquito net, rain cover, underseat bag plus a 2 year warrantee. It comes in variety of colors that you can just mix and match to your needs. Perfect for newborns up to 17 kilos (37.5 pounds).  The Bugaboo bee is a compact stroller for parents on the go. It is compact, and easy to use. With it you get, the chasis, sun canopy, underseat basket, rain cover, DVD, and of course the 2 year warantee.

You can view and compare all the products in their website and choose the best one for you. And next year they will feature their new Paul Frank 2009 collection, you just can’t miss..So there you have it, if you haven’t chosen the right stroller or car seat for your little one yet, I suggest you give Bugaboo a look, I’m sure you will be convinced and will  not need to look any more…

Marco’s soccer upset..
Posted on November 8th, 2008 @ 7:18 pm

Marco loves soccer. He lives, breaths, talks, watches, plays, dreams and sweats soccer.  He is improving everyday and you never know he could be the next Ronaldinho but I won’t hold my breath.

Today his soccer team they had their first match of the season and they lost 7 to 1...why did they lose? Well, I’m not a soccer specialist but as Matt pointed out here are a few of the reasons: Their goalie is the size of Bella, the coaching sucks, the kids didn’t know what position they were playing and the other team was double their size…

There were a lot of kids who left crying their eyes out, luckily Marco is a good sport and enjoys playing, which in the end is what is all about. So I’m proud not only of his participation in the game but his sportsmanship and positive attitude..

I will keep you updated on the season and see where they end up in the leage….

Halloween Party at the Urba
Posted on November 2nd, 2008 @ 11:26 am

Well, I now think all our Spanish friends either think we are crazy or we are the best party planners in the world (I think the latter). We had over 40 children with their parents come to our amazing Halloween bash. I was the party planning leader and had to organize everything from the decoration, food and the haunted house. I delegated what I could and I think it was a huge success.

We had a great time decorating but the most fun of all was preparing the haunted house for the kids, it was Pay Back Time!! It took Matt all day to set up but when the time came the kids couldn’t wait to go in. Traci, Matt, Elena and Paula were inside the house scaring the shit out of the kids.. They would enter 4 at a time (by age group of course) and had the scare of their life.

Overall, I think everyone had a blast. Halloween is a new tradition here in Spain, but I think the Spaniards are really catching on and is a Fiesta they will not miss year after and year..

You can see all the wonderful pics HERE…
